Lenina Olivas was born in Southern California. She received her MA from the University of Colorado in 2010. Lenina Olivas has exhibited along the Colorado Front Range and her home studio is located in Loveland, Colorado.

Her work has been reviewed in Professional Artists Magazine and is currently on display in the Colorado State Capital.

In 2018, she became the Gallery Director at the Lincoln Gallery

Lenina Olivas She is actively involved in her community, adopted a highway, serves on the board member on the Longmont Artist’s Guild, the Secretary of the Loveland Art Studio Tour, and is a member of The Artist Collective.

Prior to becoming an artist she was a figure model and worked with a variety of artists in the surrounding states. She felt that being a model helped her to connect with artists, find the right art instructor, and understand the art world. Lenina didn’t set out to become an artist but she was called to it by the beautification and joy it brought to her life.
